Treatment of head and neck cancer often requires a combination of surgery, radiation therapy and chemotherapy. The exact treatment a patient receives depends on several factors, including the type of cancer, its size and stage, its location and the patient's overall health. Our program also offers support services for head and neck cancer patients. From diagnosis to treatment to recovery, a patient's fight against head and neck cancer can be challenging. Fox Chase Cancer Center at Temple University Hospital provides every patient with the resources to meet the psychological, social and physical challenges related to head and neck cancer and its treatment.
